Nangye Korean Classical Instruments Production Village
The Nangye Korean Classical Instruments Production Village was founded as part of the effort of Yeongdong County to pay tribute to Nangye Park Yeon and pass down his musical achievements and artistic spirit. Also, through the production of Korean classical music instruments, the county wishes to contribute to the further development of this particular music genre and preserve the instrument production methods for our future generations. As a home of gugak, Yeongdong offers experiential programs related to Korean classical music instrument production and sells products to tourists as a way to generate revenue for the village operation.
