The exciting melodies and beats of the traditional music of Korea produced by the traditional instruments and vocals can be heard for four to five days at the Nangye Traditional Music Festival. It is a large-scale festival held by Yeongdong, which aspired to become an international music city one day.

The Korea Wine Festival has been held around October since 2010 at the Yongdu Park and the Yeongdong Community Sports Complex with an aim to promote the county, which is the main grape producer in the nation.

At the festival, held to promote the local wineries and develop the wine-processing industry, provides information on the history of wine and wine-making process. Also, it even has wine tasting and selling sections, where visitors can taste a wide range of wines produced in the region such as the persimmon wine, a specialty product of Yeongdong.
